Meet the team

I’m in my fourth decade of advising clients in what is now known as Miskimmin Wealth. I am currently studying for a Doctorate at the University of Chester. As a lifelong Ulster and Ireland rugby fan, my ambition is to go as a supporter on a British and Irish Lions tour. When I am not in the office, you will probably find me in either Pollensa or Estepona, Spain enjoying the sunshine and tapas.
My financial services journey began over 30 years ago with Aviva, an Associateship completed along the way and gained Chartered status whilst working for the Law Society. A role at AIB Bank as a Financial Adviser further developed my experience in Compliance, Operational Risk and Regulated Debt Recovery. In October 2020 I joined the Miskimmin Wealth team as General Manager. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies and spending time with my family, especially my mischievous King Charles Spaniel.
In 2023 I joined the team at Miskimmin Wealth as Operations Manager. My career in Insurance began over 30 years ago with Aviva and continued in the insurance industry with roles in insurance underwriting, business development and broking environments. I am an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, with Chartered Broker status. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and am an officer in the Girls Brigade. Spain is my second home and I love to be there as often as possible.
My career as a financial adviser began in 1990 with Allied Dunbar. Although there have been several company acquisitions with respective name changes, I have largely been with the same organisation throughout my career, joining Miskimmin Wealth team in 2006. It has always been a joy to see the development of clients during their respective careers, and to be an integral part of providing direction during the changes in circumstances, and objectives. I am married with 2 adult sons. My interests include both listening to and playing music, church life and watching sport.
The start of my financial services career began in 1990, 28 years within Danske Bank where I was a Financial Adviser. After they closed their Wealth Department, I moved to Miskimmin Wealth in April 2018. My passion is to deliver high-quality advice and service to both my personal and business clients, helping clients identify and meet their life goals, dreams, and ambitions with a commitment to a professional, transparent, and efficient service. I believe the key to being a good adviser is having a reasonable level of technical knowledge but more importantly the ability to listen and connect with what really matters to clients. My spare time tends to revolve around a passion for helping others which I fulfil as an Officer with Girls’ Brigade Northern Ireland; a member of St. John’s Ambulance NI, driving the ambulance and supporting NIAS and a Unit Manager for Carrickfergus Cadets. I love the outdoors and run the DofE Award scheme within GB and St John Ambulance. I also enjoy skiing, cycling and water sports, as well as going on holidays with my family.
Since 2000, I've worked in financial services and in 2016 at Miskimmin Wealth, initially as a paraplanner and now a licenced Financial Adviser. I'm really enjoying my role, especially meeting new people and assisting them work towards their financial goals. After work, I spend most of my time with family, which includes my husband, three sons, and our dog Bella. We enjoy going on long walks and spending time outside, weather permitting. I enjoy going to the movies at least once a month. Travelling across the world is a favourite pursuit, with recent vacations to Greece, Krakow, Las Vegas, including a European cruise.
My career in finance started in Australia in 2002, qualifying and progressing through the ranks to a Financial Adviser, where I love helping my clients achieve their goals. I moved to Northern Ireland in 2017 and joined Miskimmin Wealth in 2020, where I re-qualified as a Financial Adviser in the UK to continue my career, as it seemed like a great base to travel through Europe, which is a real passion of mine. My other passions are my husband and two dogs and you will usually find us out and about exploring this beautiful country or browsing through travel brochures over coffee.
Since graduating from the University of Ulster in Business and a Diploma in International Business with Sports management from University of South Africa, my financial services career with Miskimmin Wealth began in 2018. My role as a mortgage adviser allows me to provide exceptional service to clients at such an important time. Outside of work, you will find me enjoying the outdoors with friends and family, hiking, camping and early morning gym training, which is an old habit developed since playing rugby at Stellenbosch Rugby Academy.
As a Financial Adviser at Miskimmin Wealth, part of the highly successful Openwork Partnership, I’m committed to delivering better value and choice for my clients. For me, planning for the financial future is more than just looking at numbers; it’s the people and dreams behind the figures that matter the most. For more than half a decade, I’ve been helping individuals and families reach their financial goals. After receiving my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning from The Chartered Insurance Institute, I became a qualified adviser and have pursued professional courses from the same institute since then to further my knowledge and expertise. Since that time, I’ve continually enhanced my knowledge and expertise through industry events and formal training and helped hundreds of clients meet their goals. I’ve also very committed to giving back to my local community. I’m an active member of my local Church choir and some amateur musical theatre companies. Apart from these in my spare time I enjoy mountain walking up the Mournes or on the continent.
I joined the team at Miskimmin Wealth in May 2021, having previously worked for Winterthur Life, Zurich Financial Services and Financial Adviser firms giving me over 24 years’ worth of experience. My current role is to manage the Paraplanning Team and the supporting Administration Teams in leading the team members to complete tasks and meet goals whilst continually maintaining the mission and values of the company and making sure we provide top class customer service to our clients. In my spare time I like to keep fit by walking my gorgeous Cockapoo Bella, socialise with my friends and family including running around after my 3 children, who seem to have a better social life than me these days!
Before my career in finance began, I had originally qualified as a Statistician and later moved into cancer research. Whilst employed within the financial adviser sector I volunteered for a number of years, as a welfare adviser for Citizen’s Advice and recently joined Miskimmin Wealth in 2022. My hobbies include sea swimming outside of jellyfish season, kayaking, reading thrillers and quality time with my husband and 2 children.
Starting out as a Financial Administrator at St. James’s Place in 2008, my career developed moving to a Paraplanning role at Miskimmin Wealth in September 2016. Having gained over 14 years’ experience, my current role involves analysing and writing reports for pensions, investments and protection and providing clients with a professional and seamless ongoing Financial Planning experience. Outside of work I enjoy cooking and am currently in the process of renovating my 150 year old farmhouse, I also love spending time on the North Coast with my husband and 2 sons.
Having studied Economics at University, my financial career began in 2010 with stockbroking firm Graham Corry Cheevers, specialising in deceased estates and foreign markets which led to my appointment as Head of Probate. In 2015, the firm was purchased by Davy Private Clients, and I continued to look after the probate business until the birth of my daughter in 2017. In February 2018, I moved to Miskimmin Wealth, with whom I had worked alongside having looked after their stockbroking clients for a number of years. At Miskimmin Wealth I am a Paraplanner, analysing pensions and investments and writing suitability reports. Outside of work, you’ll mostly find me at our stables looking after my horse Kobe and teaching my daughter Penelope to ride her pony Prince. Other hobbies include eating out with family and friends, browsing Property Pal for houses I will never afford and collecting expensive shoes that I can’t walk in.
My career in Financial Services started in 2003 after achieving Financial Planning & Mortgage qualifications and progressed from there. I enjoyed a career as an adviser for a number of years before deciding to step back and focus on family. Remaining in financial services as a paraplanner, has broadened my product & provider knowledge over the years, and since 2022 joined the team at Miskimmin Wealth. I find it rewarding providing exceptional adviser support and contributing to clients meeting their financial objectives. On weekends, I would usually sink into a good book, go for a gym workout and spend quality time with family, friends, and my dogs.
My career in the financial services industry started around 1989 at Abbey Life in Bournemouth for 7 years, before taking a gap year, to travel around the world. On my return, I settled in Northern Ireland and joined the IFA division of the Northern Bank, later Prudential, followed by Citi Bank. I took a break from financial services before joining Miskimmin Wealth in 2019. Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with friends and lots of family time with my husband, our son Freddie and dog Poppy. You will often find me on the coastal path walking or cycling and whenever possible travelling abroad and regular trips home to Bournemouth to visit family and friends. I also enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym.
After 8 dedicated years to the mortgage industry and advancing to a Mortgage & Protection Adviser, I am enthusiastic about my new role as Trainee Paraplanner at Miskimmin Wealth. This role provides an opportunity to broaden my exposure to holistic financial advice and increase my expertise, particularly in pensions and investments. Outside of work I enjoy watching sports, spending time with my 8-year-old Staffie, Lucy, and presently learning Spanish.
I joined the Miskimmin Wealth team way back in 2007 following many years in customer services. In my previous role as Office Manager, I headed up the Front of House team (alongside Pat) and now responsible for IT and training needs. Outside of work you’ll find me being walked by my three crazy Boxers and when home I enjoy DIY and bringing old furniture back to life.
A stranger to financial services, I joined Miskimmin Wealth in 2013 and took on the role of Diary & Appointments Coordinator. It would appear to have been a match made in heaven as many years later I’m still here – it seems I have a flair for talking to people. I am part of the front of house team, making clients feel welcome. Our hospitality is legendary! I am not married and therefore one of life’s unclaimed treasures. I enjoy most things, especially losing myself in a good murder mystery or a particularly enthralling biography. Exercise comes in the form of walking, nothing strenuous of course, I’m more languid and leisurely these days.
A marketing role at Miskimmin Wealth arose at the perfect time in 2021. My family moved to Northern Ireland in 2018 from South Africa, and taking a sabbatical was always my intention, COVID however had other plans, turning a one year settling plan to 3. Prior to relocating, my career path of 20 years, developed from administration and sales in the financial investment and insurance sectors, progressing into account management and business development roles. Industry regulatory examinations were completed during that time however my new position at Miskimmin Wealth is an exciting opportunity getting back to my marketing roots.
